Oklahoma nonprofits may have a state registration requirement that is easy to overlook. A recent notice from the Oklahoma Attorney General is reminding charitable organizations to review whether they are properly registered before soliciting contributions—and to understand that nonprofit or 501(c)(3) status alone may not be enough.
